Kobo Libra Colour vs. Kobo Libra 2 vs. Kindle Voyage

I've never had a Voyage, but many say that it had the best screen among the Kindle line up.

Thank you, that was interesting.

I've had the Voyage and yes, it had the best contrast/sharpness I've ever seen on an ereader, even better than the Libra 2. But the frontlight on my Voyage was pretty bad, blotchy and uneven, plus of course it had no warm light. The frontlight on my Libra 2 is pretty much perfect.

My take away is that the Voyage does have a good screen and so does the Libra 2. But the frontlight on the Voyage is not so good. The Libra Color is just too dark.

The eBook used is rather annoying on the Kobo because the ePub is not coded correctly to make the first line of the chapter the same height as all the others.

I am surprised that they chose those models to be the first color because they’re a little bit too small. They should’ve done it with the larger models. Like the sage or elipsa
